Project Overview
As a first-generation student navigating personal, academic, and professional spheres, I have encountered challenges in effectively presenting my achievements, interests, and learning experiences. This site is designed to serve as a comprehensive personal portfolio encompassing everything from my crafts to my summer internship. Through this platform, I aim to provide an in-depth look into my projects and methodologies, offering insights into what defines me. This page will also shed light on my thought process during the development of this personal site, detailing the iterative process and continuous adjustments made.

Initial Project
Feedback Process
I utilized LinkedIn and ADPList to connect with UX/UI designers. I hosted calls with designers to gather their feedback. After analyzing the feedback, I identified the most common suggestions and made refinements accordingly.
Feedback Results
- Projects now open internally rather than externally.
- Moved the bio to a separate page.
- Placed projects on the front page.
- Embedded elements instead of linking to different pages.
- Reformatted project thumbnails.
Lessons learned
Throughout this project, I learned to balance aesthetics with practicality. Initially, my project heavily emphasized appearance. However, meeting with designers highlighted the importance of prioritizing results. Additionally, I gained insights into optimizing user engagement by leveraging inherent human behaviors, such as the hamburger menu method.
What I'd do differently
If I were to redo this project, I would begin by identifying potential sources for feedback at the project's outset rather than at the conclusion. Additionally, I would conduct user testing at each stage of the project to develop a more comprehensive and effective design.
